Chicken Marinade:

  • 2 chicken breast
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Chicken Coating (Flour Mix):

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1.5 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1/3 cup water                                                                                      
  • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 3.5 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic paste
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Sauce Aromatics:

  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1.5 tsp ginger
  • 6 dried red chilies

Corn Starch Slurry:

  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp corn starch



  1.  Dice up 2 chicken breast and marinate with the ingredients listed above
  2.  After marinating for 10 minutes, coat chicken with the flour mix
  3.  Spray it with some oil and air fry for 12 minutes at 400 F. (Flip halfway and spray with more oil to ensure crispiness)
  4.  For the sauce, heat up 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add in your garlic, ginger and chillies
  5.  Once fragrant, add in your sauce mix and corn starch slurry. Let the sauce heat up and once it gets thick, set aside.
  6.  Add in your cooked chicken and mix - garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion, if desired
  7.  Now its time to ENJOY!
