  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • pinch of black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp cornstarch

For the sautee:

  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 1/2 large white onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh ginger
  • Bunch of spring onion, cut in 1-2 inch lengths

For the sauce:

  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup

  4. In a skillet, shallow fry marinated steak until golden and crispy on each side (around 2-3 minutes per side at medium-high heat)
  5. Set crispy beef aside
  6. Sautee red peppers and thinly sliced onion with garlic and ginger, and add in sauce
  7. Add in thinly sliced red chilis and spring onion
  8. Mix in crispy beef with the rest, and enjoy!
